Subsidiary of FedEx Corp., FedEx Express, offered the shipping services from NutraCea’s warehouse in Sacramento to Sao Paolo. Feed The Children then delivered the goods to the families via five feeding foundations situated all over the city of Sao Paolo, the fourth biggest city in the world. Each of the feeding foundations were found in or were situated near very indigent places.

NutraCea’s president and chief executive officer, Brad Edison, said that the company was greatly honored to have collaborated again with Feed The Children and FedEx. Feed The Children’s Larry Jones, said Edison, has a life commitment to creating a difference in the lives of people in need.

In turn, Larry Jones, establisher of Feed The Children, stated that for several years NutraCea has been a significant backer of the organization’s project. He said that it was a privilege to pool resources with associates who are dedicated to feeding and nurturing the youth. For this reason, Feed The Children and Jones appreciated their efforts.
